My Baby Boy's Cousins

Well, I've decided I'm going to start dedicating some of my posts to my nieces and nephews. I want to keep a record of what they looked like when my baby was born. So, here's the first picture. This is my nephew Tuimavave Kevin Freeman Farr. I just wanted to write his whole name because it's really long. We call him Tui. He turns 1 on June 6th. He's Darren's brother Kevin and his wife Pela's son.

Ikea is my new favorite store!!!

So, Darren, baby and I went to the new Draper Ikea on Saturday. It doesn't open until this Wednesday so we feel kind of special. Our good friend Steph works for Ikea as a merchandiser and Saturday was friends and family day. I'm happy we're her friends. I have never been to an Ikea before so I just expected some furniture store, boring and normal. That's not what I got!!! Ikea is an experience. Especially for those of us that have a love for design. I love watching design shows just to get ideas that I will probably never do, but are now permanently in my head. This store is full of Ideas. From full home layouts to single rooms to displays there are decorating ideas everywhere. Their furniture looks so great too!! I want to go back again and again because there is so much to see. I'm sure I only actually "looked" at less than a quarter of the store. The rest we just passed by in the crowds. It was fun and great and I'm happy this store is in my town!!! There is a ton of baby stuff too, so I'm sure that plenty of money will be exchanged between me and Ikea in the next few months. I wonder if they have a baby registry!! Ok, not really. There's not that much baby stuff, but they do have cribs, bedding, changing tables, toys, kids furniture and decor for nursery's. It's GREAT!!! Have I said that yet, because it feels like I have. :)

The Nursery

So, we have decorated the baby's room and I think it turned out really cute. I'm too lazy to hook my camera up to my computer, so I took a couple of pictures with my phone and emailed them to myself. These pictures aren't the best, but they'll give the general idea.

Our little baby boy has been moving a lot lately. I think he's nearly getting to the point where Darren will be able to feel him moving from the outside soon. All is still going well. I really have nothing to complain about. I think I feel better than I did before I was pregnant.

I am 25 weeks pregnant today. It's also another sort of celebration. Darren and I have been married for 2 years 11 months today. Ok, it's not so much a celebration as a "wow". I can't believe we've been married for nearly 3 years. Time really does fly!!!

It's official...kind of

Darren and I graduated!!! (I am still in school until August, but Darren is officially finished now.)It was a nice, quick ceremony. There were probably 700ish graduates, half of them were Master's degrees. Our families were there and we went out to eat after. Ginger and Sam even came clear from Boston to be there. Or maybe they're here for the whole summer, I can't remember. :) It was a nice day. Here are some pictures.

Me and Darren with my mom and dad.

The Stokes family members there.

This is my niece Sami. She only has 16 or so more years until her Bachelor's.

He loves good music

Our baby loves good music. I have been feeling him move for a while now. I figure when I feel him the most he's happy. Last Friday we went to the opening night of Les Miserables at the Pioneer Theatre Company. It was amazing!!! It's the first time I've seen this musical. I've always loved the music from Les Mis, but the full play is so neat. It's 3 hours long and our little boy was dancing along to the music the whole time. It was fun to feel. Then on Tuesday we went to my friend Juan's Senior Recital. He graduated from BYU in vocal performance this year and he's an amazing singer!! Anyway, once again our baby was dancing from start to finish!! I'm going to start listening to my Disney CD's and other musicals. He'll love me for it later, I'm sure. It's just fun to feel him move.
