I just got back from my doctor's appointment. All is still going well. I've been nervous about blood pressure lately. All I keep hearing is that people had to be started early due to their blood pressure. But so far so good with me. I'm really surprised that my pregnancy has been so non-eventful. It's been nice, though.
It seems like 10 more weeks is forever, but then I think that it's not long at all. I can't believe how fast time is actually going by. Day to day seems like forever, but once I look back time has flown by. I hope I'm actually ready for this baby, though.
I had a baby shower on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. I'll post pictures, I promise. With each gift that I opened the reality set in a little bit more. I'm really nervous about raising this baby. I'm sure Darren and I will do fine, but just the initial realization is kind of shocking. I'm excited to start putting things away in my baby's room. I haven't had a chance to do anything since the shower. It will be fun to see actual baby things in there.
I hit my actual 31 weeks this Friday. I'm on my 2-week doctor's visit schedule now. The end is near. Darren and I start our 3rd Trimester baby class next Thursday. It's a 6-week course offered by Cottonwood Hospital. I'm excited to learn more about all of the events about to happen. I'm really in the dark right now. All I know is what I've seen on tv. I really hope most of those are worst case scenarios.
I'm in the final quarter of the game now. I really, really hope everything keeps going well. Wish us luck!!!

Three Years
Today is our anniversary. We've been married for three years now. It's really been fun being married. I'm all used to it now so I guess throwing a baby into the mix will change things up and keep us on our toes. :)
We celebrated our anniversary this weekend. We went to the Residence Inn at the airport (a whole 10 miles from our house). I realized that our condo is a lot like a hotel. We don't have kids running around, yet. We have a pool and hot tub on site. I never cook at home so we go out to eat whether we're at a hotel or at home. The only difference is that someone else cleans and makes the bed for you. But it was fun to get away for a night.
This weekend was also Darren's first ever Father's day. It was fun to celebrate that with him. He's great and is going to be a great dad. I actually have a few pictures to post, but I don't have them off the camera yet. I'll post them soon, though. I promise.

The Stokes'
My brother Paul and his wife Rachelle have 4 kids. They moved back to Utah last year after living in Seattle for 10 years. It's been great getting to know their kids and them better.
This is Sadie. She's the oldest

Baby Guymon
This is Darren's sister Tiffany's baby, Trajen. Tiffany and Brandon had Trajen in January of this year. He's such a cutie and is growing so fast!! This is it for the Farr side of the family. The Stokes side is a bit bigger. We're so excited for our baby to be added to this great family. I am 29 weeks pregnant today so there's only 11 weeks to go. It's so soon, but still far away.

More Cousins
This last weekend we made a trip to Pahrump, Nevada. This is a town that is about 60 miles north-west of Las Vegas. We went to visit Darren's oldest brother Doug, his wife and 4 kids. They just had a new baby in April and he's so cute. Their other kids are so cute too, and fun. We had a really good time and I'm grateful that they let us come and visit for the weekend. It was hot, but they had a cool pool. Thanks Doug, Kristi and kids!!!
