Darren, Judson and I went up to look at the Draper Temple the other day. It is a beautiful temple. I love it's placement on the mountain over looking the valley. The temple is in a neighborhood of beautiful homes. It was fun to drive around and see the temple.
This was a timer pic. I don't think the count down from 10 on my camera is a full 10 seconds. we never could get situated in time for the picture to take. The temple is pretty, though.
Judson is obsessed with his diapers lately. He loves the Sesame Street characters on them. He will pull diapers out of the diaper bag and play with them. While I'm changing him, he insists on holding the diaper and he laughs at the character's picture. He also shows me where it goes before he gives it to me to put on him. It's funny to see him noticing things more and more. He's a fun baby.
We went to Laramie last weekend for my cousin's wedding reception. It was a fun trip. I just love my cousin, Kurt and his family. We grew up together and although we only saw each other once a year at reunions, Kurt and I always got along so well together. Just like BFF's. He married the sweetest girl Stephanie a couple of weeks ago. The funny thing is that a month earlier Stephanie's sister Liana married an elder from the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. So the reception in Laramie was a chance to see my Aunt, Uncle, and cousin Kurt, but also Elder Fontano from WMM. Small world, eh?
So you would think that I would take pictures of the bland, grey, beige Wyoming landscape or pictures of the married couples in the dresses and suite? There was also the well advertised Little America in the middle of nowhere Wyoming? But no. There was a playground at one of the rest stops and I took pictures of that. Judson did well on the long road trip. It was fun to just get out of the house and out of the city, if only for two days.
