I don't know if happy is really the correct greeting for Lent, but it fit's my situation fine. I have been observing Lent since we lived in Wisconsin. I know that it is usually observed by Catholics, Lutherans and Protestants, but everyone in Wisconsin I worked with introduced me to Lent and I thought it was a great idea. Usually each year I give up sugar for Lent. Well, that is not the case this year. I have decided to challenge myself this year. So for Lent I am going to strictly stick to Weight Watchers, exercise and not eat Easter candy. I have been going to WW since February of last year. I haven't really done well on the plan. I haven't gained any weight in the last year, but I've only lost 8 lbs. That's ok, but not at all what I need to lose. So I'm putting my Lent goals in writing and I'll be updating on here with my progress. I'm happy for this goal to be a more healthy me. It's about time!!!! Wish me luck. Lent started yesterday and so far I've been perfect at my goal. Yeah for me! One day down, 39 to go!

One day down, just take it one day at a time. You are motivating, I was sitting here at work trying to convince myself not to go to the gym. Now I am determined to go!
