So, today we made an offer on a house. I'm so excited about it. I would love it if this house was mine. Right now the house is going through renovation. There is new carpet, new tile, it's been painted, the bathrooms have been updated and the kitchen was gutted and is mid-renovation right now. The work so far looks great. I was nervous about it earlier today because I thought some homeowner was trying a bunch of DIY projects, but the owner stopped by the house while we were there. He is a general contratorish type person. I'm happy because he's hiring out all the work so it's professional. It's great work, too. I really want this house. The MLS is #872801 if you're intersted in looking at it. The picture below is the only picture available. Darren and I went back this evening to take a few more pictures of the outside, but the owner's truck was still there and we decided it would have been stalkerish to stop. We gave the owner until Tuesday to accept or counter-offer so we'll see. Wish us luck!!!

is there any chance the house is on our side of the mountain? :)

I am so excited for you guys. I hope you can get all settled before I come out in July.
It looks like a really nice house Crystal! To have so many brand new rooms would be great! I really hope you get it.
The house looks great! I wish I could see pictures of the inside.
What a beautiful house. This house is REALLY close to 3 of my brothers. (They are all in the same ward) I think it is closest to my brother Ryan...1759 W. 12050 S. And then my other 2 brothers are on 12015 S (2105 W and 2071 W)just around the corner. Ryan's backyard has a gate that goes right into Peggy Green Park. I grew up in Riverton (not in that neighborhood, but I went to Rosamond Elementary which is right in that neighborhood) Well...I hope you get it...it looks like it has a nice yard...fenced and all. Good luck!
That is great to know, Kristi. I'm happy that it's at least a neighborhood your family would live in. I was nervous about the neighborhood and the ward. I just loved that there was a park and a school so close. We'll hopefully find out soon if our offer was accepted. I really want this house!!
Crystal:
Not to far from me. That means you will be shopping Peterson's Market. I hope we run into each other.
